General information
Sense Bank is one of the largest Ukrainian banks.
The bank was founded in 1992. Since 2001 the bank has been operating under the name of JSC Alfa-Bank and from 2004 was a member of the international privately-owned bank holding company headquartered in Luxembourg. In 2022, by passing a resolution to dissociate from the Alfa-Bank brand, the bank changed its legal name to JSC Sense Bank, unveiling a new brand identity.
On July 22, 2023, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the Deposit Guarantee Fund entered into a purchase agreement for a 100% ownership stake in JSC Sense Bank, whereby the bank has become state-owned.
Sense Bank keeps top positions across all banking market segments, is one of the stable and trusted banks in Ukraine, designated as one of the systemically important banks of Ukraine by decision of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine in 2023.
