Alfa-Bank Ukraine Provided UAH 60 mln to Assistance to the Defenders of Ukraine

Since the beginning of martial law, Alfa-Bank Ukraine allocated UAH 60 mln from its own budget for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Territorial Defense.

So, in the first days of hostilities targeted financing for the Armed Forces of Ukraine for UAH 10 mln was carried out.

Additionally, at the bank's expense the following was purchased for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Territorial Defense:

• 52 infrared imagers and 50 binoculars for the general cost of more than UAH 4.5 mln for the Territorial Defense and the Armed Forces;
• 7 night-vision devices with the cost of more than UAH 350 ths. One of the devices was handed over to the Bank's employee serving at the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
• 6 quadcopters for the defenders of зKyiv, Vasylkiv and other cities, and 44 iPhones for the management;
• 1 X-ray mobile system for UAH 1.9 mln;
• 1 spy-glass for Mariupol Defenders for UAH 28.3 ths, and etc.

The Bank also provided the Territorial Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in more than 16 cities with the tactical equipment and ammunition (body armor and armor plates, shoes, sets of military uniforms), tactical first-aid kits and turnstiles for the total cost of more than UAH 8.5 mln. Additionally, food for amount of UAH 900 ths was transferred to the representatives of the Territorial Defenses of Odesa, Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine.

In addition, the medicines our defenders desperately need were purchased and sent to them. So, the Territorial Defense of Zhytomyr got the medicines for UAH 758 ths, the Territorial Defense of Lviv — for more than UAH 166 ths, the Territorial Defense of Brovary — for more than UAH 714 ths.

Alfa-Bank Ukraine also purchased armored vehicles for the defenders of Kyiv and financed the maintenance of vehicles of the Armed Forces and Territorial Defense of approx. 10 cities of Ukraine with total cost of more than UAH 3 mln from the budget allocated for the assistance. In addition, the Bank also purchased drones and components for them for amount of more than UAH 1.9 mln.

Additionally, 33 specialized collection vehicles of the bank were transferred to the defenders of Ukraine and fuel for vehicles of the defenders of Ukraine for amount of UAH 2 mln was purchased.

In general, since the beginning of the martial law Alfa-Bank Ukraine provided assistance to:

• 20 divisions of the Armed Force of Ukraine;
• 35 divisions of the Territorial Defense;
• Azov regiment of Mariupol and marine unit;
• 3 volunteer battalions;
• marine unit;
• 6 city councils also (for the needs of the Territorial Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine).

The Bank also assisted to temporarily displaced persons, including the Bank employees in Uzhhorod, Ternopil, Khmelnytsk oblast, the hospital in Kharkiv, the national police in Kyiv and Dnipro, and military administration of Kyiv.
