Alfa-Bank Ukraine is Recognized as the Best Savings and RETAIL BANK of Ukraine in 2022

Alfa-Bank Ukraine received two awards in the Banks of the Year - 2022 rating according to the Financial Club information agency. The bank became the best Savings Bank for the Population and Retail Bank among large banks with foreign capital. The award ceremony took place during the VIII Legal Banking Forum.

Alfa-Bank confirmed the Savings Bank for the Population nomination with an absolute increase of hryvnia deposits of natural persons by 13%. According to the results of 2021, the bank became the first among private banks to which the population of the country trusts their savings, with a deposit portfolio of UAH 49 bln.

Alfa-Bank received the award in the Retail Bank nomination for the absolute growth of hryvnia loans to natural persons by 34%. According to the results of 2021, Alfa-Bank also became the leader in the scope of the loan portfolio of natural persons among private banks with a market share of 12%.

A feature of 2021 was the tendency to open deposits and apply for loans online in the Sense SuperApp digital bank. So, more than 90% of deposits were opened by customers online, and 70% of loans were issued in the digital bank, compared to 10% in 2020.

When determining the best banks, Financial Club used bank reporting data published by the National Bank of Ukraine as of January 1, 2021, and January 1, 2022. The main indicators were the dynamics of assets, deposit and loan portfolios of natural persons and legal entities, as well as the profit of banks.
