Long-Term Credit Rating of the Highest Level is Confirmed for Alfa-Bank Ukraine

RA Expert-Rating confirmed long-term credit rating for Alfa-Bank Ukraine (it will be Sense Bank soon) at the uaAAА level according to the national Ukrainian scale. A bank with uaAAА rating is characterized by the highest creditworthiness compared to other Ukrainian financial institutions.

At the uaAAA level the rating agency also confirmed the long-term credit rating of Alfa-Bank bonds of S series being in circulation.

The results of the agency's studies indicate that on the beginning of July of 2022 Alfa-Bank Ukraine maintained a sufficient level of provision of regulatory and fixed capital, and was well provided with liquidity also. In the conditions of a difficult macroeconomic situation caused by russia's military aggression and introduction of the martial law in Ukraine, Alfa-Bank demonstrated significant scopes for key items of its income. So, according to the results of the first quarter of 2022, compared to the first quarter of 2021, the bank's net interest income grew by 40.35% up to UAH 1.987 bln, net commission income decreased by 2.76% up to UAH 0.799 bln, and income decreased by 26.30% up to UAH 0.721 bln.

The rating agency also emphasized that Alfa-Bank Ukraine is the separate legal entity and is not subject to international sanctions.
