Alfa-Bank Ukraine Team Strongly Condemns the Armed Aggression against Ukraine and Continues to Help the Defenders of Ukraine

Starting from February 25, Alfa-Bank Ukraine employees and customers-natural persons collected more than UAH 130 mln of the charitable aid for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Territorial Defense via Sense SupperApp digital bank. The funds were transferred to the National Bank of Ukraine.

Additionally, Alfa-Bank provided the Territorial Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 16 Ukrainian cities with the ammunition (combat boots, body armor, raincoats, sleeping pads), food, generators, tactical equipment and video recorders.

Medicines, antiseptics, masks and medical gloves were purchased and sent to Ukrainian defenders. So, the Territorial Defense of Zhytomyr received medicines for the amount of UAH 700,000, and the Territorial Defense of Brovary — for more than UAH 500,000.

100 IP phones were handed over to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Alfa-Bank also provided 35 armored collection vehicles.

In Alfa-Bank Ukraine, 13 collection units continue to work, providing services to other banks also, including state banks, in high-risk areas, such as military units. In general, daily the bank's team collects about 800 critical infrastructure enterprises throughout the whole territory of Ukraine. These are pharmacies, grocery stores, bread factories, and etc. 

In addition, Alfa-Bank Ukraine was one of the first bank that provided the customers with an opportunity to invest in military bonds of Ukraine. All funds received from the bonds go to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the results of the first two auctions, investors purchased bonds for the mount of more than UAH 14.6 bln, which indicates the interest of international investors and faith in Ukraine.
