More than UAH 218 mln — Amount Gathered by the Customers and Provided by Alfa-Bank to Help to the Defenders of Ukraine

Since the beginning of hostilities Alfa-Bank Ukraine and its customers and employees sent over UAH 218 mln for assistance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Territorial Defense. So, more than UAH 144 mln of charitable assistance was gathered by employees and customers of the bank via Sense SuperApp digital bank for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. UAH 4 mln more was gathered by Sense users to help the Ukrainians affected by the war.

In turn, starting from February 24, Alfa-Bank provided more than UAH 70 mln for assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Territorial Defense from its own budget. So, during the first days of hostilities the target financing of the Ukrainian Army for UAH 10 mln was implemented and UAH 15 mln was dedicated for transport services for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, the following was purchased with the bank's funds:

1 X-ray mobile system for Kharkiv Regional Hospital by UAH 1.9 mln;
44 iPhones for the management and 23 quadcopters for the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the whole territory of Ukraine;
17 night-vision devices for the general cost of more than UAH 300 ths. Several devices were handed over to the Bank's employees serving at the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
62 infrared imagers and 50 binoculars for the general cost of more than UAH 5 mln for the Territorial Defense and the Armed Forces;
1 spy-glass for Mariupol Defenders for UAH 28.3 ths, and etc.

In July alone, according to the request of the Special Operations Forces division, Alfa-Bank purchased 30 portable radiostations, 6 drones and fuel for vehicles of our defenders for the total cost of more than UAH 1.1 mln. Also, at the beginning of summer the bank provided the representatives of the Armed Forces being at the East of Ukraine with the rangefinders — 5 pcs, and reflector sights — 5 pcs. In addition, at the request of the mountain assault battalion, drones costing more than UAH 3 mln were purchased.

From the start of war Alfa-Bank Ukraine provided the Territorial Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in more than 18 cities with the tactical equipment and ammunition for the total cost of more than UAH 3.5 mln. So, the bank purchased 400 tactical helmets, 100 sets of tactical equipment, 250 tactical first aid kits, 165 hemostatic tourniquets, 500 pair of shoes and 300 sets of military uniform, and etc., for defenders defending different parts of Ukraine. Body armor and armor plates for amount of UAH 5 mln was also purchased for our defenders.

In addition, the necessary medicines with total cost of over UAH 2mln was purchased and transferred for the defenders. Medicines were sent to territorial defenses and communities of Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Lviv, Brovary, and Rivne. Additionally, food for amount of UAH 960 ths was transferred to the representatives of the Territorial Defenses of Odesa, Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine.

Alfa-Bank Ukraine also purchased for defenders 5 vehicles, and 3 of them are armored vehicles, from the budget allocated for assistance. Vehicles were transferred to the defenders of Kharkivska, Luhanska and Kyivska oblasts. Additionally, the Bank financed maintenance of vehicles of the Armed Forces and Territorial Defense in more than 10 cities of Ukraine for total amount of more than UAH 1 mln. Alfa-Bank also purchased drones and components for them with cost of approx. UAH 2 mln.

Additionally, 43 specialized collection vehicles of the bank were transferred to the defenders of Ukraine and fuel for vehicles of the defenders of Ukraine for amount of UAH 3.6 mln was purchased.

In total, from the start of war Alfa-Bank Ukraine provided help to:

35 divisions of the Armed Force of Ukraine;
3 volunteer battalions;
35 divisions of the Territorial Defense;
the help was provided to 6 city councils also (for the needs of the Territorial Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine);
marine unit and Azov regiment.

The Bank also assisted to temporarily displaced persons, including the Bank employees in Uzhhorod, Ternopil, Khmelnytsk oblast, the orphanage evacuated from Kharkiv, the hospital in Kharkiv, the national police in Kyiv and Dnipro, military administration of Kyiv.
